Research on Oral Mucosa Diseases

Oral mucosa diseases have a variety of pathological features, which are usually characterized by different degrees of changes in epithelial cells and abnormal proliferation. Currently, research on oral mucosa diseases mainly focuses on immune cells and oral microbiome. Treg cell therapy has been shown to be effective in suppressing oral mucosa inflammation in mice, demonstrating the potential function of Treg cells in the treatment of oral mucosa diseases. In addition, oral mucosa and salivary resident microbiota influence each other, resulting in ecological dysregulation of the oral microenvironment, which in turn promotes the development of oral mucosa diseases.

Our Services

Oral mucosa diseases are a group of conditions that occur in the oral mucosa and have complex etiologies that are not yet fully understood. As an important physical barrier of the human body, oral mucosa diseases not only adversely affect oral health, but also are closely related to systemic diseases, which in turn affect the overall health status. Thus, it is of great significance to investigate the pathogenesis of oral mucosa diseases and to develop appropriate treatment strategies.

As an expert in the oral research field, Alta Stomatology offers a wide range of services to meet your oral mucosa disease research needs.

Leukoplakia Research

Alta Stomatology provides specialized leukoplakia research services. We are actively developing chemopreventive agents to reduce the risk of precancerous lesions, and exploring new biomarkers through immunohistochemistry studies to develop novel diagnostic techniques.

Erythroplasia/Erythroplastic Lesion Research

Alta Stomatology specializes in erythroplasia/erythroplastic lesion research, including immunohistochemical analysis and histological analysis. We are dedicated to developing precise diagnostic methods to accurately identify the different stages and severity of erythroplasia/erythroplastic lesion. We also provide customized services according to your needs.

White Sponge Nevus/White Folded Disease Research

At Alta Stomatology, white sponge nevus/white folded disease research focuses on pathogenesis analysis. We employ genome sequencing and histochemical analysis to reveal oral mucosa tissue changes in white sponge nevus/white folded disease.

Oral Submucous Fibrosis Research

Alta Stomatology is actively engaged in researching oral submucous fibrosis and exploring its etiology and pathogenesis. We provide gene expression profiling, immunohistochemical analysis, biomarker studies, and other services. In addition, we are committed to optimizing the OSF assessment index and developing targeted therapeutic agents.

Lichen Planus Research

Alta Stomatology offers top-notch services for lichen planus research. We provide metabolomics and transcriptomics analysis services to assist in analyzing pathological changes and metabolic abnormalities. Furthermore, we are seeking out effective treatment strategies to relieve patient's symptoms and boost their quality of life.

Lichen Planus Pemphigoides Research

Alta Stomatology strongly promotes research on lichen planus herpetiformis. Through histopathology, immunopathology and molecular biology studies, we identify key features of lichen planus herpetiformis to improve our knowledge and understanding of its pathogenesis.
